Call the support desk for problem recoveries

I'm having a problem recovering a mirrored array in Win2k. They are SATA drives and it is a software RAID. The primary drive is dead. Do I edit the boot.ini file as I would with SCSI drives (i.e. rename the SATA driver to ntbootdd.sys, change multi(0) to SCSI(1)? Anyone tried it?

I really hesitate to give advice in such a situation. You should really talk to the support organization of the software RAID solution.
