FalconStor compatible with Oracle
FalconStor Software Inc. announced today that its IPStor Enterprise Edition software has completed validation testing with Oracle database environments under the Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP), meaning IPStor software's snapshot agent, replication and synchronization features can be used to back up Oracle data. FalconStor is a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.

Emulex switches integrated with VTL
Emulex Corp. has announced that Sepaton Inc. has integrated the Emulex 2 gigabit per second (Gbps) InSpeed Model 350 and Model 370 storage switches into its S2100 line of virtual tape libraries (VTLs). The InSpeed switches will be used by Sepaton to develop a switched-bunch-of-disks (SBOD) architecture.
