“These computing endpoints demand new data protection strategies, higher backup platform scalability, and new application access control policies,” the company said in a statement.
According to the company, CoreVault v11 offers any-point-in-time rollback of data, support for 10 Gbps LAN, a web-based interface and stores cloud backups in “two private data centers.” The product also handles backups of remote offices and laptops, as well as offers support for local backups.
CoreVault said that v11 includes deduplication and can be used for bare metal recovery by reconstructing data at the image level.
It supports Apple iOS devices such as the iPad, iPod and iPhone, as well as Google Android–based tablets and smartphones, said CoreVault.
